Golden teak veneer has nice vertical grains with bold white to light golden contrasting stripes. The contrasting grain can be tightly spaced or slightly wider but always alternating light and dark contrast. Golden teak veneer is almost exclusively quarter cut only to produce the characteristics stripe. The annual growth rings are often strongly defined and give the veneer a distinctive look.
